Boston area singer/songwriter/guitarist Rick Pisano has come a long way from New York's famed Brill building and 1650 Broadway where as a young man he walked the corridors with a guitar, a briefcase and a dream. The result of his journey? A uniquely honed, straight from the heart debut CD, Dawn Of A Waking Man. Pisano, with his gritty, powerful voice bursting with passion, provides the listener with a lifetime's worth of pure emotion. The exciting, multi-genre (blues, rock, pop ballad, and a rousing gospel ending) album, which was meticulously arranged and produced by Pisano was recorded with Joe Laquidara (owner/studio musician/engineer). Laquidara is noted for earning a gold and platinum record for his work on the rock group Boston's Walk On album. Dawn Of A Waking Man is more than an artistic achievment from an exciting new artist. But, rather the triumphant culmination of many years of internal struggle, learning one's craft, and never giving up on the dream.
